Improvement to favorite donation feature: select only ads not already marked

Proposed Improvement:

  • When selecting « Favorite the first 50 listings, » instead of taking the first 50 listings, select the first 50 listings that have not yet been favorited by the user.

Proposed Text:

  1. Choose the options
    Favorite the first 50 listings that have not yet been favorited by me

This allows for truly giving 50 favorites, even if it means going lower in the closet (unless you reach the end and don’t have enough, but then there’s nothing more that can be done…).

I’m more interested in your initial need/problem rather than the solution you want :slight_smile: It’s better to fully understand what Clemz can offer or not.

So, your need/desire is to be able to favorite more than 50 items in a « friend’s » dressing room?

Hello hello,

So not quite, I want to give 50 favorites regularly to a friend, but if since the last time, the friend in question has only added 10 new articles. By clicking on the button, I will only give him 10 favorites (because you can only have 1 favorite per article). So 40 lost/not given.

Even if favorites are very effective in the first 20 minutes of an ad’s life. I think they are still taken into consideration if they arrive later (even if less effective).

The idea was to get as close as possible to 50 favorites.

This is exactly my problem, as a recipient of favorites.
I just suggested myself that the quota of unreceived favorites be carried over to articles from previous days (= your suggestion, Clément explained to me why this is not relevant) or from following days.
