A slightly special topic (if I may say so)!
I don’t know if this topic will be a big hit, but the goal is:
Share your unusual Vinted experiences ![]()
I’ll start with my unusual event of the day:
I’m part of a boost group on Messenger, and someone who was doing the same session put together a bundle (because she had all the items favorited), except she actually paid for the bundle.
Instead of just creating a bundle and sending the message.
haha this boost session is all profit!
On my end a few days ago, someone made me an offer… for the same price as the item. I accepted and she bought the item ![]()
To return to my case, buying is buying (as an individual: no right of withdrawal), and at the same time these are items that I have had for a long time.
In fact, by creating batches, it’s like with views and favorites, it appears on the item for example « interested users: 9 users »
and as indicated in the poster I made, it’s a bit like on e-commerce sites that tell you « warning, only N items left » or « N people are interested ».
Haha, I love the idea of sharing unusual Vinted experiences!
I’ll contribute then ![]()
In my closet, I often put items that I don’t want to sell but that allow me to test the Clemz extension. I do everything I can to prevent people from buying them: I take low-quality photos and set a very high price.
And the other day, while re-publishing it for a test, I received a nice message from a guy that I’m sharing here:
« disgusting shirt for €75, not even ironed, you’re a madman »
![]()
It’s crazy that people take the time to send something like that instead of just passing by…
After all, it proves that re-publishing gets the ads in front of new « customers »![]()
Same
I didn’t understand her offer at the merit price and she bought it
I also had a lady who asked me if I could lower the price. I said yes while waiting for her offer.
In the end, she paid the base price ![]()
I love it
it’s all profit for us! ![]()
I am a professional seller. Buyers therefore have 14 days to contact me if they are not satisfied with the item and return it. Clearly, they therefore have 14 DAYS to check the item.
After the 14 days have passed, I receive my 5-star rating, which is cool.
Another 15 days pass, and I see that the rating in question drops to 2 stars. I see the reason: "The feet [of the figurine] are glued.
On the description, it was written in black and white (I even insisted just before sending to know if the person had read it properly. Answer: yes). And I had taken several photos, showing the glue.
In short, an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, I also changed their rating, indicating that not knowing how to read or look at pictures was in no way my fault.
Vinted should also block the right to change ratings after 15 days.
My unusual find of the day:
Since yesterday I put an item up for sale, a bag, and already the 3rd account (nothing to say about the accounts, lots of reviews, nothing suspicious), but all from the Netherlands, and they ask me;
Who finds this strange? Should I report all these accounts from the Netherlands to Vinted?
Hello!
So you can already put the measurements and photos directly in your listing, to be on the safe side.
So far, I’ve never had any problems with Vinties from the Netherlands. If your bag is a well-known or luxury brand, it might be sought after in that country.
For worn photos, you have the right to refuse (even for a bag).
I’m reopening this topic, just for a laugh at others’ silly mistakes

I have a buyer who just sent me a message asking:
« I really like the sandals, I’m a size 38, do you think I’ll fit into them? »
The sandal size: 36 ![]()
I replied…
« yes, yes no problem, your feet will fit into these sandals, but you will certainly have your toes sticking out! »
If she buys them, I’ll keep you posted

I am selling a book on gratitude for €7 (a third of the price, like new as it’s a duplicate and not common on Vinted).
Someone is attacking me, saying I shouldn’t sell it for more than €1, that it’s shameful, …
I didn’t reply, maybe I should have offered it to them for free given their unpleasant state of mind (this person didn’t even make me an offer or anything!)
I took a look at their closet, clothes and books are almost new!
Well, I’ve noticed that very often those who send messages of this type are also sellers… or even pros…
Conclusion, do not do what you would not want others to do to you
I had a similar case on a combo… A few days later, she bought it. For now the package hasn’t arrived ![]()
This happened to me recently, but it was the very first time. « Can you do these two books for €20? » Since each book was €10, I said yes ![]()
A book for €80. I know it’s out of print, specialized, rare, and also in mint condition.
Vintee: « But you’re crazy, that book is only worth €5! »
Me: « I understand your reaction. Would you be so kind as to point out where you found it at that price? »
Vintee: « As if I had nothing better to do! »
Well, Vintee already « had nothing better to do » than to write to me…
Arguing that it’s cheaper elsewhere without providing links, I don’t understand how they think that will fly ![]()
So what happens to me from time to time is that they show me a screenshot of a site where the price is indeed lower, but they frame it in such a way that I can’t see the « out of stock ».
I have to admit, that’s a pleasing sale ![]()
A saleswoman accidentally leaves her car keys in the package she is sending. And looks for them for weeks.
