Identity verification on Vinted

Hello, Vinted is asking me to verify my identity. Can I trust it? And why am I only selling at low prices? Thank you for your help. Here is the link: Rejoins le mouvement de la seconde main et vends sans frais ! | Vinted. They say the document I sent failed, but I haven’t sent any documents.

Hello :tulip:
Indeed, that’s normal.
It’s a security procedure for payment methods and bank transfers. Normally, they send a message regarding the steps to follow, they perform the verification on their end, and then a page states that the verification is confirmed and you can continue to sell/buy as usual.
Here is a link where you can find more information:

Once the verification is done:

Have a good evening :dizzy:

Hello, Vinted asked me for the same thing. ID photo taken and no problem.

Hello, what is an identity photo for a CNI?

Hello,

A photo in the National Identity Card format

Thank you for this information.

Sincerely
Anne Rauch

I can no longer sell, I am blocked. Impossible to transfer my money to my bank account.
My identity verification keeps failing even though my ID card has no anomalies.

I am still stuck with the inability to transfer my funds from my wallet to my account. It keeps sending me back to identity verification, which fails.

Hello,
For security reasons, I have removed your attachment.

I’m sorry, I don’t have any other information regarding this subject.

My identity verification still doesn’t work.

For your national ID photo, did you scan it or take a photo via the app?

I’m asking because I had this issue with leboncoin, so I sent a scanned photo via my printer, and it was always rejected without reason. I had to contact them to find out. Basically, you need to take the photo directly with your smartphone for better quality. So maybe it’s the same for you.

I took my photo with my camera. I do not have a smartphone.

And it is of good quality.
