Verification in progress - over 24

Good evening

I have an article that has been hidden for over 24 hours
Has this ever happened to you?

it is being verified, it may take 2 days

Yes yes I know I saw  but I wanted to know if it had already happened to other people

Hello Miss, yes that has happened to me several times.

Yes, that has happened to me several times. In the worst-case scenario, the listing is rejected. You either have to redo the photos/description, or the item is not allowed to be sold on Vinted.
Bots are sometimes confused by certain photos. At one point, I was selling badges. They were sold in their original packaging. However, the packaging resembled condom wrappers (silver squares)
So I had to do without the packaging!

Ah, thank you, that reassures me a little.

It’s completely random
This is really a simple item: a shirt with geometric B&W patterns.. the patterns must have hypnotized the bot :squinting_face_with_tongue:

:joy: thanks for your feedback!

I had the same problem, and this morning I still have a pair of trousers that are there.

So, did I write the product description with chatgpt or not.

I think I’ll redo it.

I am selling a lighter with a detachable tail and each time Vinted checks the ad for 2 days but accepts it

Words with questionable connotations can block an ad, I think!

That’s interesting
Thanks for the info

Sorry for the double response, but in the end a long check is a bad sign, because for the pants they asked for more photos

Here no subject, it went online after a while without further modification

Yes, it’s not impossible that the patterns could be disturbing for the bot. I wouldn’t be surprised!

Hello,

I feel like the checks are becoming more and more frequent and lengthy. Is it just me? Is this a new Vinted trend?
Before, it took a few tens of minutes. Now it’s at least 24 hours. It’s annoying.

Hello!
On my end, I always have a check, but a very, very short one. For each article/modification on the article (price, description, or photo).

Yes, sometimes and it can take 24/48 hours. Sometimes if you change something on an ad, for no particular reason the item can remain under review. Personally: I avoid doing that before the weekend, I lost a lot of sales by changing a detail in an item and it ended up under review all weekend.

Is it serious if it takes several days?

Good evening! Is the « processing Â» still… processing?

Hello
For me, this has become systematic for months, no listing is validated in less than 6 hours, regardless of the item or its value.
I’m trying to list items, some of which are €3, since yesterday, nothing unusual, yet everything is still under review.
I have already written to Vinted’s technical support, but they just send me a copy-paste of the text regarding the 24 to 48 hour delay.
And to answer the question of the importance of it going faster, I would argue the case of bundles: when a buyer sees several items pop up, one or two of which interest them, they won’t necessarily subscribe to the Vinted seller’s profile to see if others will come later to make a bundle. They think the others won’t be long in appearing and wait a bit, then give up because the shipping costs are not interesting for one or two items.
I therefore think that this can, in certain circumstances, lead to lost sales.
