Apparently the first tier is 10 sales / 500 bucks, we’ll see if that’s up to date. But from memory, they increase it very quickly (like you don’t even have to wait for those 10 sales for it to be re-evaluated).
It should also be recalled that eBay was quite a jungle in the 2000s with a lot of scams and counterfeits, so they did a good job cleaning it up. But as a result, there are some constraints, but if you play by the rules, you normally won’t even really notice them.
