I am new to the platform and am contacting you because I wish to buy an item on Vinted. I made an offer, and the seller made a counter-offer.
If I do not respond to this counter-offer, can the seller go back to the initial offer and validate it, or is it automatically considered refused because they made a counter-offer?
You can always make another offer at a different price than the seller’s.
Afterwards, I’m saying this as a precaution; as a professional seller, I find it very annoying. I let it slide, but I know colleagues who don’t bother and block.
@Gametoysretro: thank you for this feedback, yes I understand the seller’s point of view, I will reply of course. However, in your scenario, you can no longer go back on the initial offer if I understand correctly.
@leadie91: thank you for the answer, absolutely, but from the seller’s side, I don’t know how the price history is viewed (whether they still have access to the offer(s) they might have refused to accept them afterwards).
