Dishonest person

I was just confronted by a dishonest person who sold me a Ralph Lauren sweatshirt listed as new without tags. Unfortunately, the sweatshirt was not new and stained all over. She didn’t want to accept the return. Vinted got involved. I’m sending it back, but I’m afraid she’ll say she didn’t receive the package… People are generally dishonest in their descriptions, aren’t they?

hello - Yes, it’s crazy the number of listings: nine with tags that not only don’t have tags but with a description that says: worn only 1 or 2 times. The kind of wardrobe that makes me run for my life. Lots of dishonest people who don’t realize it’s harming them. I tend to rate the condition as worse than it is. I prefer my buyers to have a pleasant surprise.
I recently reported a listing for a shirt in very good condition with a photo showing a completely worn collar. It’s useless to report anything to Vinted. They clearly tell you that « After careful consideration, we have found that the content you reported does not violate the rules and therefore we cannot take action against… ».
I had also reported disgusting shoes in « very good condition » but the response was the same. So you have to be vigilant when you are a buyer.

It’s clear that I am, like you, very honest in my descriptions, but unfortunately, I don’t think there are many of us like that :pleading_face::pleading_face: Have a good evening.
