Hello. I received the email on Saturday asking me to go professional. I’m not surprised, but despite my fears, I’m quite happy to make it official, as this way I’ll do everything even more seriously.
I completed my INPI file this morning, but it was impossible to find where or how to apply for ACRE on the Ursaff website (I am eligible).
Then I hear different opinions about visibility: do you really think you are less visible as a professional, or is it just an impression?
On my end, I’ve not only noticed a drop in visibility, but above all, a massive surge in reports overnight since I went pro. As if the competitors didn’t like it
On my end, I’m taking advantage of this thread to ask a personal question:
I’ve made 100 sales with my new account and nearly €9,000 in revenue, but I still haven’t received any message from Vinted to go pro.
So I’m wondering: should I stay as a private account and declare my revenue to Urssaf myself? Does the pro status on the platform ultimately not matter?
Internship in July and quickly abandoned. No visibility. I too was happy to ‹ make it official › and in fact, a lot of energy was spent for nothing. It has nothing to do with regular accounts. I see it as a dead end to put pros aside. Selling on a normal account doesn’t prevent you from creating your own micro-business and declaring it to be above board. But the Vinted pro account
So, from what I understand, it’s a bit of a lottery to get caught, but it will happen eventually. If you’re not a professional, you can’t declare to URSSAF, it’s one or the other. As long as you haven’t received an email, keep doing what you’re doing.
To make sure I’ve understood correctly, you have your professional account but ultimately it’s with another personal account that you do your business? What do you sell? Thanks
It’s crazy that the pro side seems almost more of a hassle! But on a personal account, aren’t you constantly living under the sword of Damocles, fearing being permanently banned? Because personally, that’s my case… After posting too much at once (I think that’s why), I was blocked for 5 days. Since then, I haven’t dared to post much, and I’ve noticed that I’m selling so much less. It scares me because my goal was to make a living from my sole proprietorship, and now I don’t know if I’ll get there, given how I feel like I’m walking on eggshells and the sales aren’t following. If you have any tips, I’m really eager to hear them!
On a personal level, I put my account on hold to switch it to pro. I don’t want to be permanently banned. In parallel, I opened a second account which is doing well (with another email/account/phone). This means that in the end I will have 3 accounts: the pro, the personal one, and another one.
yes, regardless of your Vinted account status, professional or not, if you have a micro-enterprise, you declare the turnover (I’m an accountant and seller )
I was always banned before I got the sales com message. And I had the sword with every repost. That’s why I decided to stop. Every morning I didn’t know if I would still have an account. And rebuilding a new sales account each time was killing me slowly. No more Vinted. I’m alive again. But everyone has to have their own experience. Of course, the pro account is stable: it gets unbanned more easily. But well, in terms of visibility. And people don’t go on Vinted to buy from pros, even if they gain peace of mind. I had 2 sales canceled as soon as they realized. And the returns after 15 days are also meh.
Not a bad idea to have multiple accounts at the same time! And do you also need to have different bank accounts if you do that? (Thanks so much for the help!! )
