Do you have it too?
Hello @Lucile
Yes, I’ve had it for a while (business account). Now my gauge changes according to the status, whereas before it was the same regardless of the status.
It still remains undervalued compared to the real potential price ![]()
I’ve had it for a while
However, only for a few days has the photo search worked
It’s weird…
I’ve had it for a long time too
Yes, completely off the mark, I find. It seems the brand is not taken into account in this evaluation.
I am systematically too expensive according to the personal bar. I don’t even pay attention anymore, it’s not relevant at all for my wardrobe.
Yes, I agree!
Ah, that’s been on my search bar for a few weeks now.
There must be gradual rollouts for each new feature.
Your feedback @vintoche and @Astrid confirms my opinion: I am also too expensive in 90% of cases.
Hello,
I’ve had this gauge for a long time, but I don’t refer to it, or I would sell almost everything at a loss!
Same as Yestoyday, I’ve had it for a while and I’m avoiding it.
Hello, I’ve had this on Vinted for a while ![]()
I don’t pay attention to it, it’s underestimated, I give my price and then I adapt
Yes, I have this price gauge that appears, but it’s impossible to take it into account. The prices are really too low, therefore unusable!!! It’s supposed to encourage us to lower our selling prices even further when they are already very low!!!
Hello!
The price gauge has just been replaced by fixed prices.. Which are a bit low in my opinion for this type of item but I quite like the idea of clicking on a fixed price
Hello there ![]()
I was having a thought while reading your answers.
I’ve had this gauge for a long time too, I was always trying to see where I stood in my pricing, when I realized that yes, I was always above it, but it was intentional, related to the possible disproportionately low offers from some buyers. For some time now, as I’m selling almost nothing, I’ve decided to change my strategy and take the gauge into account…
(My potential theory that Vinted doesn’t highlight clothes if they are above the gauge, deemed too expensive, therefore not attractive, and thus not in the algorithm)
And then, I had another great week… I sold about ten items taking into account the high gauge price… Conclusion: Does the gauge affect our visibility based on our price?! ![]()
BUT, and this is where I don’t understand my own theory…
Why would Vinted make this move when selling at a higher price revalues the products… thus allowing them to take more commission etc…
So… what do you think? (I might be way off
)
Hello,
I think that’s a perfectly valid theory! It doesn’t surprise me about Vinted: The platform prefers to focus on sales volume, which is more profitable in the long run.
