It’s good for buyers.
For us sellers, it’s a bit less so because when you’re in competitive niches, even as a professional, it’s sometimes difficult to compete with non-professional accounts, so you have to know how to build your listing and its visibility well… this will make selling a bit more difficult for people in my situation.
But for buyers, yes, it’s really a good thing for them.

I don’t have this feature yet.
Personally, I break out in a sweat every time Vinted implements a new feature due to the series of bugs that usually follow. So no, I’m not too thrilled

I think this feature is only visible on the computer and not on the app

It works like Google Lens: you upload a photo of a product and Vinted will search for all items for sale that resemble it.

Honestly, it’s not a bad thing for sellers, right? Because when buyers spot an item from you, they might find it elsewhere for cheaper and then stop buying from you… ^^
In any case, the option has disappeared for me too!
With Vinted’s « similar items » proposal, it was already the case. It doesn’t change this aspect much in my opinion.
I find the image search option very practical for searching more quickly for a very specific model and evaluating the right price to put on an item for sale… knowing that the search engine is VERY (too) broad… same when I want to buy something specific

Yes, that’s great! It worked one day. Then the camera disappeared from the search bar 
I’ve been trying to figure this out for 3 days…
