I’m going on vacation for 15 days soon, and I’d like your feedback on the vacation mode. I’m hesitant to activate it because I don’t want to have any trouble when I get back… do you have any feedback for me on the subject?

Yes, I would advise against it, the return seems just as complicated after activating this mode. 
Okay, but how do I handle sales during my vacation? 
You can hide all your ads (if you don’t have too many) that’s what I did 
You can indeed hide them or put them in draft. Putting them in draft removes the favorites/views from these articles.
With Clemz, it’s possible to do it in a few clicks

Hello - Why would hiding ads be more effective than vacation mode?? I put my shop on vacation and what I’m going to do is remove vacation mode 24 or 48 hours before returning. If that’s all the time it takes to be visible again, that should do the trick.

Vacation mode greatly impacts visibility. It takes several days to regain the same visibility as before your departure.
@Gametoysretro mentioned it at one point on the forum and I’ve seen other feedback along these lines on Facebook groups regarding Vinted.

I don’t see the difference. When I put myself in vacation mode, all my items are hidden, so why would I bother doing it myself?? It would take me a crazy amount of time. I have about 500 items.

Yes, last year was a disaster, 15 days with no visibility.
This year I tried again and even if it seems less impactful, the recovery is still complicated. But I think doing major republications with Clemz helped. Because it concerned announcements made before the vacation mode, and the visibility of announcements seems to unlock when someone favorites or views an announcement (which is complicated when they don’t appear).
On the other hand, I don’t know if there is a difference between professionals and individuals or if it has exactly the same effect.

Personally, I was surprised that after a vacation mode, it took off like wildfire as if the algorithm had kept the good rhythm from before in memory. On the other hand, on my new professional account, after 2 months of vacation mode, it’s sluggish. So, a 50/50 experience.

I always activate it because the shipping deadline is short in case of purchase. And I don’t like automatic cancellations of sales, due to non-shipment or non-receipt 
I specify that I am not a pro and do not see any negative impact in activating this mode.
Hello, I put it in vacation mode again in May for a week and it caused me no inconvenience. I unlocked it upon my return and everything returned to normal. No difficulty with this function.

Hello, you can activate it without any problem and recovery from normal mode is easy. I use it on each of my trips.

Cc, same here, I’m putting it in vacation mode because when there are a lot of items it’s way too long. I can’t see myself hiding around 400 items. If some sell, let’s say they spend their lives on Vinted, but for me, it’s vacation mode.
