I sold earrings in perfect condition on Vestiaire Collective. The buyer opened a dispute claiming a missing pearl. I checked them one by one before shipping. However, I did not film the shipping process.
Has anyone encountered this situation before? Apparently, it is quite common on Vestiaire Collective for buyers to damage the item to get an immediate refund?

For selling very regularly on Vestiaire Collective, I have no issues: the platform has always been fair and I’ve never had a dispute in that sense… And consequently, no buyer has damaged an item.
Could the shipping be the cause of the missing pearl?
