I am writing to alert you to a very concerning situation. I sold an item on July 12, 2025. The buyer confirmed receipt, but the payment of €25 is still blocked in my wallet, without any justification.
Despite several follow-ups, customer service has responded with vague statements (« technical problem, » « be patient ») without any timeframe or solution. And I’ve discovered I’m not alone: dozens of similar cases have appeared since June/July.
I denounce this practice, which amounts to abusive withholding of funds. Regardless of the amount, we must all demand respect.
I call on all Vinted sellers to:
– Temporarily hide their listings to alert the platform,
– Share their experience here if you are in the same situation,
– Report this malfunction to the DGCCRF via signal.conso.gouv.fr,
– And demand compensation if necessary.
We are not robots. A company that collects commissions on each sale has obligations towards its sellers.
Hum… While it’s inconvenient to have €25 stuck in limbo, it’s only been two weeks, so there’s no need to get worked up yet. If the DGCCRF is alerted for such minor issues, they must either be overwhelmed or have an army of agents assigned to respond…
I will continue to follow up, remaining extremely polite, and reminding them of the issues each time. I will also write during the week, to have a chance of getting responses from employees based in France.

I’m joining Faune, don’t give up, start again, make new requests… I recently won my case for a lost package (18€, like you for the principle and I was reimbursed after many requests and others)
after not forgetting that the fees are the responsibility of the buyers, … for us sellers it’s « free » so to claim and have weight … even if I agree, without sellers, no buyers and no commission for them!
