For some time now, almost all of my republished articles have been receiving 1 like without me receiving a notification afterward; could this be related to the republication itself?

Perhaps the people who are favoriting your items have disabled the option to send notifications to the seller. This could be a lead.

These are indeed people who have disabled the notification option to the seller.
That’s what I thought at first, but the favorites are added shortly after I republish and on almost all my articles; so it’s unlikely to be that, unless I have a secret admirer…
