Hello everyone!
I think the question has already been asked, but I couldn’t find anything about it.
I have two Vinted accounts: one professional and one personal. My question is: for the tax declaration, should I declare both accounts or only my professional account?
Personally, I sell almost nothing on my professional account, but rather on my personal account.
For all Vinted accounts, income is reported to the tax authorities.
For private accounts, there is a tolerance on turnover, which is normal if you are reselling your items.
For professional accounts, everything must be declared, even €50.
For private accounts that generate significant revenue and are involved in buying and reselling, you will need to declare.
There are many more advantages to being on a private account even if you are a professional, but apparently, there is a certain tacit limit on the volume of items that can be put up for sale.
To answer, if you do business with a private account, you must declare the sum of both as professional income, not just the professional account.
Being multi-platform allows you to distribute revenue, and delay the moment when one of the platforms requires you to go pro.
But this does not change what must be declared to the tax authorities. The tax authorities don’t care whether the platform considers you pro or not, as long as you pay social security contributions and taxes.
However, an authentic comparison of PFs is missing. No one seems to have created a page listing all PFs and showing their advantages, disadvantages, pricing conditions, commissions, service quality, etc.
There are only pages of blabla. For example, in the link below, commissions are simply not mentioned for a site like Rakuten.
Hello!
If you wish to discuss multi-platforms, feel free to create a separate post.
This is more about declaring your sales to the administrative services as a private individual.
