Business account or multiple personal accounts?

1, we’ll never be friends.

2 I don’t need to relax in front of someone who comes asking how to circumvent the rules from people who respect them.

3 there’s no such thing as very far or beginner: You buy to resell, you have to pay, that’s the law. We’re talking about ways of selling, we’re talking about legislation, so you have to stop taking us for fools. You have multiple accounts to cheat, precisely.

4 You’re discussing something that’s not up for discussion. and if people like you are the problem, because there are thousands of you cheating and distorting competition laws by flouting them, a bit like those who leave to avoid paying taxes, it’s the same thing.

You’re mixing everything up, « you buy to sell, you have to pay » I’m a micro-entrepreneur so I pay my Urssaf, my CFE, my taxes…

Everyone answers my basic question kindly, except you. I can just picture you on Vinted, spending your day reporting and getting lots of people’s accounts banned. Your business must not bring you much profit, otherwise you’d stop looking at what others are doing.

« You have several accounts to cheat » no no not to cheat but to create nested accounts, so as not to mix everything up.

I notice that many users indicate they have multiple accounts. Personally, I have two accounts:

  • a professional account with 1300 listings where I sell fashion items
  • a personal account with about ten listings with which I sell personal items (books and records) and buy them.

Why do some people prefer to have multiple accounts for buying and selling? What is the benefit?

Each account is dedicated to a type of item; I can’t see myself selling tracksuit sets and suits from the same account. Niche accounts work better than catch-all accounts. This is just my point of view; everyone does as they please.

But that complicates management for you, doesn’t it? You need a bank account, a phone, a different person holding the account each time… How do you manage that easily, if you don’t mind me asking?

No more than that, you can have a bank account with several IBANs, so everything arrives in the same account. On the other hand, yes, you need several phones, several phone plans so that each account connects to a different network. Regarding identity, all my accounts are in my name without any problem.

OK, I didn’t know a bank account could have multiple IBANs.
I see that it’s a proposal made by certain banks.

*Certain banks and neobanks (Qonto, Revolut Business

(Response I made on another post)

To create a new account without risk of a ban, there are several important steps.

New email address

New number and especially 4G/5G network (avoid Lebara, Lycamobile networks… which are often used by bots. Vinted doesn’t like these networks)

New IBAN

New phone

New Google account on the new phone

You must never connect the new account to Wi-Fi or share a connection with a connection that Vinted already knows!

You need a different photo background for each account.

You should avoid taking photos of items with one phone and sending them to another phone; Vinted can take the photos’ metadata into account.

And above all, you need to warm up the new account: add items to favorites, buy 2 or 3 items, browse Vinted without posting anything. Start posting after several days, or even a week. Start by posting items without brands, or low-end brands, make one or two sales before starting to post branded items.

You need to do everything to make Vinted think you are a new user who is slowly discovering the platform.

The other advantage is that in case of an account ban (and to the displeasure of some, but indeed Vinted / Vinted bots ban accounts for no reason), our activity is not stopped since we still have other active accounts.

Yes, that’s a definite advantage at this level

Well! You have to be motivated! And you have to be skilled to juggle all these accounts, these phones, etc… without getting confused.

Besides, this can only be an undeclared professional activity, and what will happen with the DAC7 directive?

However, you learned quickly how to get around the rules :face_savoring_food:

Of course it is declared, you declare the total sum of your overall turnover to L’Urssaf. For DAC7, when Vinted asks for it, just answer no to the question « do you have a tax number », in which case they will only provide your first and last name.

I strongly advise against not declaring, because the day there is a check in view of the sums arriving in the bank account, it’s a disaster.

I bend Vinted’s rules, but I declare my revenue

Personally, it serves as a backup for

yes I understood, it just makes me smile that you claim you didn’t necessarily have time to train on legal rules but that on the other hand you have broken down the tricks to bypass Vinted. At the same time, you’re not wrong, you have to be resourceful in life.

This is necessary for the sustainability of our business, everyone knows that Vinted is totally unstable and that everything can stop overnight… But I will indeed convert one of my accounts to a professional one to be a little more in line with Vinted’s rules.

You’re doing this on purpose, it’s not possible?

You’re not compliant, that’s all. You come to make a post asking how to continue to circumvent them. What don’t you understand about the term « legal obligations »? It’s not enough to pay your contributions. You pretend not to understand your obligations but you quickly understood how to get out of them. Strange for a beginner.

And well, you’re making a personal attack to divert the subject, a classic.

OK, you can definitely have multiple personal accounts that feed into a single business bank account that is declared to URSAAF.

And indeed, the main advantage is that if one of the accounts is banned, your business isn’t ruined, which is a problem for my business. It’s even the biggest hurdle. I can’t quit my salaried job to start a business that could shut down overnight because Vinted has programmed its bots differently.

BUT it seems to me there’s a problem with how you operate, and you can clarify it for me:
all these Vinted accounts are registered in the name of individuals, so with the DAC7 directive, these individuals will see sums corresponding to sales appearing on their tax return as personal income.
Am I mistaken?
