Hello, Since Sunday evening, November 3rd: the Vinted page closes after completing the connection page (forced to do so since no page remains) and the Clemz page also closes. This happens only on the Brave environment (which allows Chrome extensions), where I usually log in. But not on Mozilla Firefox (unfortunately, Clemz does not work on it). Do you know about this issue on your end???
Alas, I know Brave, but I don’t use it. You can also use Edge, it works on that too.
Basically, you can use it on all Chrome-based browsers like:
- Microsoft Edge: Switched from EdgeHTML to Chromium in 2020, with specific features like Microsoft 365 integration.
- Brave: Focused on privacy, it blocks ads and trackers by default.
- Opera: Uses Chromium since 2013, with features like a built-in VPN and an ad blocker.
- Vivaldi: Made for advanced users, it allows deep customization of the interface.
- Epic Privacy Browser: Designed for private browsing with ad and tracker blocking options.
- Comodo Dragon: Based on Chromium with security enhancements, offered by Comodo.
- SRWare Iron: Removes certain Google tracking aspects, designed for enhanced privacy.
- Yandex Browser: Developed by the Russian company Yandex, with a unique interface and a focus on security.
- Cent Browser: Offers customization options and advanced features for Chromium users.
(Well, I’m not that precise with the list, I don’t know them all, I just asked ChatGPT to list them for me).
But one thing I can say, with Edge, no problem.
Worst case, clear your browser cache, reset it to factory settings.
And if you have extensions and pinned tabs on it, write them down so you don’t lose them.
Thank you very much for this list (even if I suspected an AI, it’s a good reminder). Regarding computing: I’m using Linux Mint and not Microsoft. Two months ago, I installed Chromium because Opera started crashing (and in fact, Chromium too: Mozilla + Brave + a 3rd one, it’s too much for my PC). Opera is still good for copying/pasting images on multiple sites at the same time, and it’s not easy to manage files on Linux with Brave/Chromium/Opera when you’ve used Windows. In any case, uninstalling and reinstalling Clemz this morning allowed me to stop the websites from disappearing: I hope it holds.
I understand better, because I am on Windows 11, and at one point I wanted to test Linux, and oh dear, it’s not for me, even though there is a distro that resembles Windows a bit, its name was Zorin OS.
But I won’t say more, we are on a Vinted/Clemz forum and not an IT forum.
Hello!
Clemz is only « certified » and tested on the original Chrome. Other browser versions, even those based on Chromium, are not guaranteed as their Chrome extension management may differ…
In summary: to use Clemz, prefer Chrome on desktop ![]()
Afterwards, I can certify one thing, that Edge works well.
