Surprise: I mistakenly re-published an ad (with the same modification as yesterday) and immediately after, very severely, I received the Vinted moderation message: « you cannot add items for 3 days, and one or more of your listings have been removed. However, you can continue to buy normally. » and this one is different from another message: As a result of a violation of our Terms and Conditions and our Catalog Rules, you can no longer add new items or modify your existing listings until 03/16/2026.
During this period, you can continue to:
sell and promote your existing items
browse the catalog and buy as usual
In your opinion, should I understand that I cannot re-publish but promote existing items, without re-publishing… but how? with their boost?
So yes, you understood correctly. But hey, I really don’t understand the point of their thing. You can sell but not create ads, you can still buy boosts etc. …"
I was just banned for 3 days for the same reason. A republication that was deleted, yet I made many changes (different emoji with opposite color, cropping, and rotated photo). I republish about fifty articles a day and have a large wardrobe with over 700 items from the same brand, so the items look quite similar. The republication process is becoming increasingly stressful.
Indeed… I don’t have that much, and it’s really a lapse in attention, but even with a new modification, it can perfectly assume that it’s the same (the other day, if I hadn’t listened to Clemz who pointed out that it could be spotted because the modification wasn’t significant enough, it would have been 50 items spotted (!): I had to add degrees of rotation to my new emoticon). The communist Vinted also told me that next time, I’ll get a 9-day ban!!! (buying/reselling is misery). Good luck!
I also have my account restricted for 3 days for the same reason. I always republish by modifying the photos, I post 5 republishes, 2 ads are deleted, 3 go through, I don’t really understand. The question I’m asking myself is:
Since Vinted now sorts wardrobes by relevance instead of by date added, could it be that ads are pushed to the bottom of the wardrobe when choosing items to republish?
