I signed up here to increase my chances of finding good deals rather than going through the site’s search engine and waiting for sellers to respond.
There are fewer and fewer flea markets, so I try to find things on Vinted, LBC, etc..
As part of several projects, I am looking for pairs of sneakers that have already been worn.
- My children go to summer camp every year, and given the activities they do, they quickly wear out what they bring with them.
- I’ve started a DIY project, which involves recreating objects from other objects. I need to launch my website soon, once I’ve made a few creations.
- I also do Upcycling by recovering materials from pairs I own that can no longer be worn.
- I collect certain models that I particularly appreciate.
So I’m looking for models that have been worn, but in decent condition, that can still be worn or reused. My children will wear them, and I will too if I find them in my size.
Brand-wise, I usually look for brands like Adidas, Asics, Nike, New Balance, Reebok, but also other brands.
I prefer buying in lots, with the possibility of negotiating the price a bit. I also like buying from the same person when trust is established.
In the world we live in, facing the increasingly high cost of living, I don’t hesitate to equip myself with second-hand items; it’s also good for my projects, saving me from buying new, and for items that I would have made myself.
