Price offers, rule change again or Vinted bug?

Hello everyone,
Can someone explain the thing with price proposals. It seems to me that we cannot do more than 40%. And for a few days I have been receiving 50%, and today for the item at €7 I received the offer for €1

yes, a friend sent me an offer for €1 to test on an item for €35. But surely a bug because I can’t make these offers and there was already something similar a few months ago.

It’s strange because when I try to make an offer to someone, Vinted tells me it’s only 40%, and no more. I really don’t understand :disappointed_face:

yes that’s what I was saying above, so certainly a bug.

Either it’s a bug or it’s an offer made by someone who knows how to bypass Vinted’s block! For example, an offer made via an extension… In my opinion, I’d be able to do it as an IT person :slight_smile: So I’d tend to tell you to be wary of people who manage to make this kind of offer.

If no one can make offers at -50% except this person, it means they are plotting something :slight_smile:

Questions for all readers: Is anyone able to make offers of more than -40%?

Me neither. Do the offers happen to come from female users abroad where Vinted’s rules might be different?

That’s what surprised me, the proposals came from France and once from Italy, because the Germans make very correct offers, the Irishman at 40%

Hello! I read this post this morning and just received a disproportionate offer. €10 for an item at €55 :sob::joy:
It was an Italian person.
We are far from -40% :face_with_crossed_out_eyes:
I didn’t try to understand, I blocked the person directly. You shouldn’t mess with people :squinting_face_with_tongue:

Indeed, I just tested it, and I can offer any price. So Vinted has removed the 40% blocks.

Here is Vinted’s response:
Thank you for your message.

We are currently testing a maximum discount percentage that you can request when making an offer to a seller. Therefore, for a limited time, you will only be able to request a maximum discount of 30% on the item’s original price.

Important: during this testing phase, you may see different offer options than other members.
