VintedGo ink saving impression

Hello,

Clemz recently changed the scope of the « ink saving » VintedGo print, to only keep the QR code. At least in some cases:

Can it be expanded again so that we still have the rest of the package number digits as well as the secondary QR code (top right), which the carrier might use?

Thank you

Hello,

No, I haven’t changed anything: it’s Vinted that produces this Vinted Go code when you are on the web/mobile. It just outputs a QR code and nothing else…

You’ll see that when you output the PDF without « ink saving » mode, there’s no more information.

This is the « digital shipping label » feature that Vinted seems to be imposing now…

But I must be able to add the tracking number nonetheless
However, the 2nd QR code seems to be the same, doesn’t it?

I only ever use my computer for printing. I’ve noticed that the VG slips come out in two different formats, and I can’t tell why.

Without saving ink on the mini-VG format, there’s always a number under the QR code.

I don’t know where this trend of not sticking anything on packages and just using a QR code on a phone (also offered by MR on LBC) comes from. Because as soon as you have several packages to ship, it multiplies the risk of error; or else you have to write the contents on the package to avoid mistakes, which is almost the same as putting a label on it.

Thanks @Faune for all these images that help me see more clearly

Ok, I will improve the « digital QR code » version downloaded from Clemz to display:

  • 2 QR codes (for redundancy in case one is poorly printed)
  • The tracking number
  • The date of sale

Basically, make the digital QR code look more like the previous one

It’s online!
