I made two purchases from professionals - I am a private individual - I paid for the item plus buyer protection fees and shipping fees. Exactly like on Vinted.
However, their FAQ clearly states:
Announcements from sellers other than private sellers located in France or Italy include Buyer Protection at no extra cost to buyers.
Well yes, I did the test and it was the same… 
when buying on my Pro account, it was the same for me…
What I don’t understand is that there are Pro accounts where the protection fees are included, and others where they are not, I looked around a bit…
Why?
I sent a message to Ebay to ask them to explain… I’m waiting for their response.
I checked through my personal account by purchasing from my professional shop and from a friend’s: no additional fees, they are included in the item’s price.

So I created a personal account again to test and see how it reacts compared to my main account. At least they aren’t a pain, you just need a different email but no issues with the rest (name, address, email, phone number …)
edit: well it’s pretty well done, it’s quite simple to list something for sale. And for shipping it automatically reloads what was put on the previous listing so you just need to change the price if the weight differs.

Apart from entering the Mondial Relay price the first time, it’s exactly the same, at least for national delivery. We mustn’t exaggerate.

Indeed, it’s not complicated at all. It’s brainwashing that is easy for us to condition ourselves and prevent another solution. Ebay does not communicate enough in France. No TV ads for example

I’ve developed an allergy to making parcels for €2 
sometimes I tell myself that people like suffering anyway. They spend their lives crying on Vinted when in fact there’s everything you need to do without it and do exactly the same.
Besides, what was Vinted’s great strength was its mobile app, but even eBay does better now. Ad creation AI module, personally I don’t like it, but at least it exists. Photo editing and processing module, it’s not Photoshop but it’s already useful.
I would say that the weakness remains international shipping. And possibly the limit on the number of ads created, in case of large wardrobes it will take several months to list everything without paying

You also forget the fairness.
When you are « Clean », there is no need to fear a possible « Ban » for nothing.
To be restricted or completely « Banned » you really have to mess up and not respect the rules.
Then the reality of the reviews too.
When the buyer is not correct, you have the option to leave a « real » review, and indicate to other sellers what may not have worked.
For sellers too.
Finally, the protection is also good on both sides, since if you receive an unjustified review, you can request its study by customer service (human).
We will see if by copying Vinted’s Coms, if they continue in this spirit.
yes but these are strong points. I certainly feel more « respected » on eBay than on Vinted.

Activity practically at zero on Vinted for weeks despite new items every week (almost 50 each week). A disaster But… I just made another nice sale on eBay. The 4th in 15 days. Very reasonable purchase offer. Which I of course accepted. Payment made immediately by the buyer. Maybe I’ll get back on Depop since they merged @Clement a gateway to eBay that seems to want to make a comeback?
