Disparition Mondial Relay?

Hello everyone
For about ten days now, I haven’t seen any Mondial Relay points near my home. I’ve tried several different sellers, whether it’s a single item or in bulk, it’s the same thing. I used to have many relay points nearby. I don’t understand anything and I can’t find any information about it, it’s driving me crazy… Am I the only one? And I don’t know how to contact Vinted about this. There’s no contact information on the help page…
Thank you!!

Hello,

Are they open right now? (school holiday period depending on the zone you are in). Are they able to receive new packages?
Look directly on Mondial Relay instead.

Hello
Thank you for your feedback.
I went to the Mondial Relay website, and there are at least 6 drop-off points within 1km. I live in the Paris region, so there are really a lot of them, which is why I’m surprised to see none. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but it doesn’t change anything.

No idea then.. Sorry

For me, it’s been 3 months after 50 messages, Vinted doesn’t care about us

Hello, I had the same thing in December and part of January. In fact, it was literally to slow down sales in my shop. Besides, it was strangely harder to find me even though I published at least 3 to 5 items every day. Suddenly, when I reduced my efforts and blocked far fewer people who were negotiating endlessly, everything eventually returned to normal. It was super weird!

Good evening, I’m also wondering if Mondial Relay has disappeared. Because I can’t change the carrier as a customer. At the stage of purchasing/choosing a pickup point, only one carrier and its single list of pickup points are imposed on me, whereas I wanted Mondial Relay, which the system does not offer at the pickup point selection stage, even when entering the exact coordinates of my Mondial Relay pickup point. It’s as if this carrier had been completely wiped off the map. Thank you.

But it’s exactly the same thing I’m noticing!! It’s crazy. The thing is, by going directly to Mondial Relay, the drop-off points are still there and you can drop off packages there as a seller. I contacted Vinted and they don’t want to know anything, they tell me that if the drop-off points are not visible, it’s because they are unavailable. I live in Paris, so there are usually tons of drop-off points, it’s definitely a bug on their end, but they don’t want to admit it.

Vinted will never answer you on this. They actively monitor the performance/overload/errors of their drop-off points and adapt accordingly. They even use AI now, read a very interesting article I saw on LinkedIn about their method.

Hello,
The Mondial Relay pickup point (a local Intermarché, where packages were dropped off in person) confirmed to me that they received an email from Vinted informing them that only the locker of their subsidiary brand, Netto, remained active. In 2 seconds, they learned they were no longer a pickup point…
So, I have a question: this is the first time I have to drop off a package at a locker, but I haven’t received a code (I did get a code to pick up a package from the locker the other day, yes).
How does it work?
EDIT: I got the answer

Hello hello,
Here’s what the news is saying about Mondial Relay

Summary: This is an excerpt from yesterday’s 1 p.m. news report concerning the closure of Mondial Relay’s physical pickup points. So, we’ll soon only have lockers… they are terminating contracts with stores.

Hello, I am in exactly the same situation as you. None of the Mondial Relay points are offered to me during purchases, and the sellers assure me that the Mondial Relay option is indeed validated on their end. Have you since seen an improvement or found a solution?

Hello
The Mondial Relay pickup points have magically reappeared after several weeks, and last time there were 3 times fewer than usual… and of course Vinted uses the excuse « it’s not our fault if they don’t appear, it’s because they’re not available, » as if all the pickup points in Paris suddenly closed at the same time… ridiculous. It’s very annoying that they so openly mess with us…

Mondial Relay has become a competitor since they launched Vinted GO, so a conflict of interest is possible…

In one line of code, hop! We can no longer go through the competitor! :zipper_mouth_face:

Hello,
I recently went to pick up a package from my local shop. The shopkeeper told me he had received a letter from Mondial Relay terminating his contract because Mondial Relay deliveries will now be made via locker stations, but will remain with local shops in small villages. He was very upset as this is his main source of business.
Here’s what I found online: https://actu.fr/economie/mondial-relay-
Mondial Relay sent a letter to many shopkeepers announcing the end of their « Point Relais » (Pickup Point) contract… in favor of their automatic lockers.

Very interesting! Thanks for the research.

Well, I clearly showed primary anti-Vinted-ism by blaming them:sweat_smile:
The lockers must indeed be much more profitable for Mondial Relay and the article (link available here because it is truncated in your message) confirms Vinted’s version: Mondial Relay is indeed closing its pickup points with retailers overnight…

Hello,
Indeed, we are discussing it on this post: Fermeture à venir de nombreux Mondial Relay (commerçant)

:hugs:

Good evening everyone,

Indeed, I notice that Vinted has unilaterally decided to favor certain partners, and it’s truly deplorable, not to say a pain in the ass. If anyone has a plan to express our anger to this capitalist company, please share! Let’s fight together!

Hello, if you are a Parisian resident, there is nothing surprising about that. I have 6 Mondial Relay pickup points and lockers around my home, and Vinted only offers me Vinted Go or Chronopost to receive my packages. They simply favor the means of transport they sponsor. If I offer my daughter’s address in Toulouse or any other address in the provinces where there are fewer post offices and Vinted Go points, I immediately get all the Mondial Relay pickup points I want!!! The most absurd thing is that they impose Mondial Relay on sellers but do not inform them of this situation. I am using LeBonCoin more and more, and there, no problem!!!
