Personal accounts: replacement of Mango Pay with Vinted Pay

Hello

Did you see the update to the terms and conditions for personal accounts?

Do you think the fact that it is no longer MangoPay, which was independent and, if I understand correctly, allowed the same person (identity card verification) to have multiple wallets (therefore multiple accounts), changes the possibility of having several personal accounts?

I only have one, but given the many recent bans, many have created new personal accounts to compensate for this… This would be a new way to lock down this « empire » even more.

At this rate, they’ll force us to send with boxes that we’ll have to buy from them

Apparently, this is already implemented on Vinted UK and there are no issues with multi-accounting.

Vinted will have its own payment system, but that doesn’t mean they will directly handle identity verification. It’s a very complex process, and usually, third-party services take care of it. Also, I’m not 100% sure, but under GDPR, storing ID card numbers is prohibited (to be confirmed), so I don’t think it will change much.

I just looked at Vinted’s authorizations in Europe for financial activities, but I don’t see that they have this type of authorization. Amendment: a bank in Lithuania has delegated this capacity . We’re in trouble. After Vinted, go Vinted Pay. That promises things.

In the UK there are many disputes about payments, frozen wallets. Not so fluid at all

This way, the day the Viking wants to leave with the crate, it will be easier

That’s great, Vinted is going to be even more rotten than it is today…

I got my €620 from my wallet to secure it  but I’ll wait as late as possible to validate it. I’ll wait a bit for feedback from others… even if in the end we won’t have a choice, you won’t be able to use Vinted anymore..
